Kotaku awards(ish) “less filling, more killing” the Worst Product Catchphrase of 2009!
We recently were awarded the coveted Worst Product Catchphrase by Kotaku.com’s writer Brian Crecente! It’s not a real award, but we were pretty amused by it regardless.
In fact, we’re pretty fond of “less filling, more killing,” and Kotaku, for that matter (come on, how do you develop an energy potion called ‘Mana’ without being a Kotaku fan?) Most taglines feel like they’re going to melt your brain with watered-down doublespeak, we thought it would be refreshing to say something fun. It’s sort of a “if you get it you get it, if not, oh well” type of thing.
